Before the build
Punch items get photographed, texted, and then argued about. By the time anybody reconciles them the crew has gone and the record is a scroll of pictures with no addresses on them.
How it works
- 01 Every item is raised against a location on the job, not against a message thread.
- 02 Photos attach to the item with a timestamp and the name of whoever raised it.
- 03 Assignment goes to the trade responsible, and the clock starts there rather than at the walkthrough.
- 04 Sign-off needs a second photo, so an item cannot be closed by being marked closed.
